The Factory Links Steering Stem Bearing Kit renews the steering head bearings, races and dust seals on selected Beta, KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas and Husaberg motorcycles. It is a practical rebuild option for enduro, trail and motocross riders in Australia servicing worn or contaminated steering bearings.

Steering Stem Bearing Kit Benefits

• Tapered roller bearings support smooth steering movement under front-end loads.

• Matching bearing races provide fresh running surfaces for the replacement bearings.

• NBR dust seals help keep grit, mud and moisture away from the bearing assembly.

• OEM Series components are made to the original fitment requirements for the listed applications.

• Bearings, races and seals are supplied together for steering head servicing.

• Suitable for selected off-road motorcycles, with additional road and rally applications requiring an exact model check.

Ideal For

• Enduro and trail riders replacing notchy, rough or loose steering head bearings.

• Motocross and cross-country bikes undergoing scheduled chassis maintenance.

• Rebuilding a steering assembly after water or dirt contamination.

• Workshop servicing where the old bearings and races need replacement together.

Why This Product?

A worn steering head can make the bars feel rough through their travel or allow unwanted movement at the front end. This steering stem bearing kit provides the main wear components for a proper rebuild, rather than fitting new rollers against an already damaged race. Factory Links offers the kit as an OEM Series replacement for the motorcycles listed below.

Technical Details

Tapered rollers carry combined loads through the steering head. Their mating races must be seated squarely and the steering bearing preload set correctly during installation. The supplied dust seals help protect the assembly, but regular inspection and suitable lubrication remain important after wet rides, washing and demanding off-road use.

Installation & Maintenance

Have a competent mechanic inspect the stem, frame bearing seats and related components before assembly. Replace the matching races, lubricate as required by the motorcycle service manual and use the specified tightening and preload procedure. Check that the bars turn freely without play after assembly; recheck adjustment at the interval specified for your bike.
